Volunteer Opportunities

Would you like to volunteer some of your time to support learners at our Community Learning Services?
Support is needed in English, Maths, ICT, ESOL, as well as some vocational areas such as Business Admin, Health and Social Care and Construction?
Perhaps you would be able to support some of our learners who have learning difficulties, who often need one to one support.
There are several venues where you can volunteer your time including Thrunscoe, Freeman St and Childrens Centres across the borough. In return you will receive training to support you. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01472 323540

Have you tried a lifelong learning course recently? Think about learning and working and make this the year you do it! Community Learning Services offers a very welcoming and safe environment - come in and see us.

Choosing the right course

Whether you need advice about your choice of course, or need information and guidance to help you find a course, we can help you. Contact the centre of your choice - specialist staff will help support you to make the right choices and provide the information and additional support you might need.

What is available?

To look at the range of courses that we offer click here or on Courses in the Menu Bar above. There you will be able to explore all the topics and find out where and when courses are available. If you don't see the topic you would like to follow, then ask us. We may have new courses in planning that are just what you want. We are always looking for ways to meet local demand for courses where practical so let us know. We may be able to offer it ourselves or put you in contact with other providers in the area.

Get in touch.

You can contact one of our centres (click on Contact Us above) or e-mail us on cls@nelincs.gov.uk with your enquiry.

For news of other events and activities click here or on News in the panel on the left hand side.
